William Petersilge, M.D.

Biography

Dr. Petersilge has been in practice at the Southwest General Health Center since 2023 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and with Subspecialty Certification in Joint Replacement.  Dr. Petersilge has practiced in the Greater Cleveland Area since 1993. He is fellowship trained at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, California. Dr. Petersilge has numerous publications including book chapters and academic articles in orthopaedics.
 

Dr. Petersilge specializes in joint replacement of the hip and knee including complex reconstructions related to deformity, dysplasia, infection, and trauma. 


Dr. Petersilge enjoys world traveling, sailing, motorcycling, and spending time with his family. He recently went on a mission trip to the country of Bhutan to perform joint replacements and educate Bhutanese surgeons there to perform these surgeries.
